Can anyone help me find a denim shirtdress?

I've tried Jigsaw, even with the belt tie it looked shapeless and made my shoulders look huge. Also tried Gap - even more shapeless.

I'm 5'3", size 12 and a bit top heavy. Not just boobs but wider shoulders than hips.

Can anyone recommend a dress that will suit me? Thanks.

Oh me at to say short sleeve and short-ish length otherwise dresses lol frumpy on me.

I got a lovely one from Boden recently and it's not at all cute or fun... Had heaps of compliments.

I also have one from boden, is long sleeved though. Was £35 in the sale. Quite fitted and short on me.

I've toyed with buying this oasis dress it's in the sale too...

I have this one from Next. It is nicely slim-fitting, works summer or winter and is a good length.

I quite like the look of the Banana Republic one. Ideally I wanted short sleeves but suppose I could roll them up.

The Mango one is a possibility but it says to size up which would be a 14. I've worn Mango dresses before and they pull on the bust.

Have you looked at Seasalt? It's the kind of thing they often have.

I ordered the mango one from asos and received it today. It's nicer irl than on the asos website. I'm a size 12 with very large bust at the minute and the size 12 fits me so didn't need to size up. I need to wear the top buttons undone until I finish breastfeeding and my chest goes back to normal size though.

They are really lovely! Fit well on the shoulders, good length and hide any lumps and bumps. Undecided whether to keep the dark or lighter one.

Just checked and the price is now £75!!! It was £52.50 when I ordered it - so thanks tethers!
