Please?? Everywhere I look they are flimsy and see though - no good....

Am after a decent weight that wont show my bra and keeps a good shape - too much to ask? Apparently so!

so - where are the good ones this year?

American Apparel Tri-Blend Track t-shirts are nice.

Gap every time. I have this one in the navy and the white.

The fabric is like a slub cotton so a bit more weight to it and doesn't show the outline of your bra.

frankietwospots · 13/05/2014 16:29

oh and I have the coral one too!

doradoo · 13/05/2014 16:41

Some ideas to be getting on with - thanks - but was hoping I think for less £££ - I suppose cheap = thin and nasty?

OP, you could try the men's departments too as men's tee-shirts are typically much thicker.

JennyOnTheBlocks · 13/05/2014 16:54

next basic ts are usually pretty good

i bought a couple last year and they've kept shape and colour well considering the price

MissBlake · 13/05/2014 17:31

No not always, the matalan ones are great. You can find decent things at any price I have stuff from primark thats looked good for years when a pair of jeans that were over £ 100 went holey and slack after six months. With everything you just have to be careful, look at the fabric, stitching and hems. I never buy online because I can't do this. If you are wanting to spend a bit, the hobbs ones are indeed very nice. Went in with pushchair and 3 year old. What a nightmare!

Thanks all - am going to have to hit the shops - in Germany so not all same brands which is why I guess I was hoping for a mass recommendation / fail safe....... which I could order in bulk online.

My M&S ones are falling apart now - but the new ones there don't seem as good.

i have a great white, v neck one from KANGOL
its a good thickness, slight stretch, so fits round curves, not a loose fit.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/05/2014 19:29

The M&S Limited ones are still good (others are awful though) - unfortunately v few colours available though.

ErrolTheDragon · 13/05/2014 20:32

Buy a good quality T and it'll last much longer than the flimsy ones.

SocialMediaAddict · 13/05/2014 20:59

Got a lovely striped one in Oasis.
