Clinique Airbrush concealer no longer works on my dark circles what can I use instead?

I've been wedded to Clinique airbrush concealer for some years as the best disguise for my dark circles but it's finally time to admit that the skin round my eyes has aged to the point that it no longer works for me. Help me find a replacement please!

I've had dark circles since my early teens (genetics plus a life that has always involved late nights at theatres plus school/work/children in the day). I've always managed to hide them well but now find that as soon as I move my face the concealer falls into obvious creases that remain. I guess my under eye skin has just lost it's taughtness.

So... what can I use instead that won't make me look like I have crepe paper skin under my eyes?!

I use Touche Eclat which is very similar to the Airbrush. I find I get a much better result if I use primer under my eyes. I have the L'oreal one in the little pot which is fine, but I recently bought the Clinique one in pink, it comes in lots of colours, I really like it. I find it smooths everything out and the concealer works better and stays put.

I use Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch - it's only £4.99, and gives more coverage than similar premium brand products. For everything else, I use Clinque though!

i have a Rimmel illuminating one, i tried the collection one but found the Rimmel better, not so thick.

I use Bobbi Brown creamy concealer. Since I started applying my foundation with the Real Techniques stippling brush, I find I need less concealer to hide dark patches around my eyes. After I've finished applying my foundation, I swipe the brush over my eyes to blend and then dot some of the BB concealer in the corners.

Thanks. Lots try test when I go to the shops on Friday. I don't wear foundation which makes it trickier to cover the dark circles I think. I found foundation wrecks my skin.

Benefit Boing is good, you can then put the airbrush concealer over the top as well. Kind of depends which shade you've been using in the airbrush as obviously the colour match is the most important on concealers. I am neutral fair (so yellow based).
