Am 6ft and need a dress for a 'nearly' black tie event

Heeeeelp. I'm 6ft and need a lovely dress for a posh, but not quite black tie do. I will wear it again for a wedding in a couple of months. I have no boobs at all so would like to put the obligatory push up/gel bra under it but have a decent pair of hips and I dont think I want floor length. Thankyou.

I like phase eight - they have nice evening wear - I am 6'1 and usually get something there - long tall Sally has very poor quality IMO and massively overpriced - avoid if poss.

Don't buy anything from Long tall Sally. Overpriced and frumpy.

I prefer separates, most dresses don't really fit properly because the waist is too high (and I'm only 5'11). Phase eight and Coast are nice.

Coast works for me and Biba from HOF.

Other brands/ places depends. I'm a 10/12. However when I was a 14, it widened my choices as the cuts had that extra length.

Have a look at Max Mara. They come up long.

Hard to know what else to suggest. Coast and phase 8 are easily available anywhere and biggest choice.

5' 11' here, John Lewis have some very long posh frocks. Phase eight are usually good for taller people.
Tall girls is a website that has some well priced clothing. They usually have a good selection of dresses. Not sure how posh you need to go.......

Agree with avoiding LTS, Poor quality, terrible CS and usually frumpy.
