A sexy little crossbody for under £250 pleeaaase

I'm in the market for a little crossbody. Maybe tan, ideally taupe, maybe a bright red or blue. I like Chloe Mini Marcie and some Coach and MBMJ bags. I like some Michael Kors ones too Simple is good, but I'm a sucker for a brand too so maybe I should wait for sale time? Budget under £250 - show me your faves please?

i really like the fossil explorer range, have just got the explorer flap via ebay and love it. the crossbody one is a nice size and comes in lots of lovely colours

if money wasn't an issue, i love the tom ford one jennifer anniston is always carrying! i think that's why i like the fossil ones as they have feature zips too.

I like the MBMJ Natasha - I'm really after silver hardware though. I've had a full size Natasha in the past and it was very handy. If I could find one in indigo or pink with silver hardware I'd get it. Not a fan of the colour block one.

Don't like the Fossil ones, sorry - they look very practical but not v stylish to me. Love the Tom Ford one, I saw a mum at school gate recently with one and was v and stalked her halfway home to get a better look

I went to town yesterday and looked at the Michael Kors shop on Regent St but tbh they all looked a bit flashy and tacky in the flesh, and not that good quality. I quite liked the dark blue Selma mini with silver hardware but it's just a bit on the structured side, I want a weekend bag really for jeans. Then the Longchamp shop and I really liked this one , on the shortlist.

Then hit Selfridges to discover I don't actually like the Chloe Marcie in the flesh at all too lightweight and no inner pockets, and a bit fiddly to get into. Saw some lush Victoria Beckham ones that were ££££.

Then I struck gold in the MBMJ section with this beauty - in two sizes for £200 or £380. I fell for the bigger one of course but will wait - the SA said sale will be in 4 weeks so I'll pick which one then. It looks so sleek and simple in the flesh, the logo is barely noticeable and in a holographic material. It doesn't look much online, I'd ignored it when I'd seen it but in the flesh it's beautiful.

In the meanwhile if anyone has any more recommendations...?

I really like that Jaeger one but too big, and although the name suggests there's a smaller version I can't see one.

I think I definitely want a saddle bag shaped one, small and sleek.

I love the look of this Zatchel but I've seen Zatchels in the flesh and I'd prefer a softer leather.

Don't think they do the Marc Jacobs Natasha in pink (yet!) but they are always bringing out new colours. Lots of people here have Michael Kors bags. I prefer Marc Jacobs but he does do a lot of gold hardware.
Kate Spade has a lot of pink like this bag - but it is a different type of look and gold hardware again.

You are on fire tethers, I love the Mimi Berry one! And the Clarks one is a bargain and the tan is lovely but I want to spend some money

It is very nice. It can be a clutch bag with the wee strap too. Will have to hope it goes into the sale.
