URGENT HELP NEEDED! Girlie weekend away coming up and want to look slim and glam - what do I need to buy for the perfect capsule wardrobe?!!!!!!

Feeling fat and frumpy after holiday so am going to buy a few new things - but what? casual for day and a bit more glam for evening. (Going to Majorca by the way so hopefully will be hot!).

Any suggestions?

I don't really do 'glam' when it's hot - I try for 'elegant' instead in a long floaty skirt kind of way, so for a beachy weekend I would pack

bikini
sarong
couple of kaftan-y tunic tops
couple of vest tops
knee-length cotton skirt
linen trousers
flipflops
Nice sandals for evenings
really cool sunglasses
beady dangly earrings

beach = bikini
lunch = sarong or kaftan over bikini
shopping and/or non-glam = sarong, kaftan, flipflops
glam-ish = vest top, skirt, sandals, earrings
glam-ish if sunburnt = linen trousers, kaftan, earrings

any help?

thanks MrsB - that's pointed me in the right direction. Just hope there's still a few summery bits in the shops. I have a few pairs kof linen trousers but not the right sort of tops to go with them - will get down the shops tonight!!! I already thought I would treat myself to some big celebrity style glitzy sunglasses - got to look the part round the pool!

DG - not showing off just desperate for some clothes that fit properly!!!! One of my friends has just popped in for coffee and we have decided that all talk of diets and weight is banned!!!

I'm sure you'll find something. Most of the shops at CP still have summery stuff. Tried on a few things myself yesterday. Monsoon has 70% off and quite a few nice things in Principles too.
