Your link isn't clickable?

dexter73 · 09/05/2014 09:57

The link works for me. I think it is a lovely dress.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/05/2014 10:00

I like it, needs some silver jewellery perhaps?

Pompbear · 09/05/2014 10:15

OP - you can do a clicky link by putting you link inside double square brackets, even on your phone.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 09/05/2014 13:04

Link is fine!

matronly. that's it, I feel matronly in it....

I like it but there is something not quite clicking for me. Cant put my finger on it though sorry.

EasterSundaySimmons · 09/05/2014 20:26

It's a bit costume looking.

But with the right accessories would look elegant.

It's nicer than having acres of flesh on show,me which seems to be the norm these days!

It has a retro look about it and I imagine you will look charming and elegant.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/05/2014 20:37

Erm...not sure. Depends on your figure and how worn, I think. It has a hint of opera singer about it.

Pompbear · 09/05/2014 20:39

its really weird. its lovely, fits well, is flattering but ....

so I know what you all mean. hmmm. no wonder its going cheap on eBay!

I think a oversize clutch, pointy shoes and big eating might help....?

OP posts:
Pompbear · 09/05/2014 20:39

earring!

OP posts:
Pompbear · 09/05/2014 20:40

Pompbear · 09/05/2014 20:48

arrrggghhh! "arse"!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/05/2014 20:50

:)

I think you'd need to be careful re pointy shoes too - could move it into Granny Weatherwax territory.

Maybe dress it down a bit with strappy black and tan sandals, and some silver bangles? Would deffo avoid any blinginess.

MrsDiesel · 09/05/2014 20:50

I think its a bit medieval maybe?

Philoslothy · 09/05/2014 20:53

It's a wench dress.

EasterSundaySimmons · 09/05/2014 20:53

I would play to the dress not try to create a different look.

I would wear elegant shoes and jewellery. Think Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn styling.

Your hair needs to be styled. No limp locks.

Pompbear · 09/05/2014 20:59

i might just wear it to do the hoovering. I bought it because it was cheap, silk and has arms... but its just not right. or I might sell it and hope not that many people see this thread

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/05/2014 21:03

Could you try it with leopard print ballet flats maybe?

EyelinerQueen · 09/05/2014 21:09

Went on my pc to have a look. Hmmm. It's an ok idea but the execution is poor.

It looks a bit cheap and badly made and a wee bit Renaissance Fayre garb.

It's a no from me.
