How to stop my PERMANET hair colour from fading!

So I've just coloured my hair again, waited 5 weeks since my last colour, a recorded for me! I used my current favourite Shwarzkopf poly colour tint, a PERMANET colour in a natural brown mixed with warm brown. Leaves my hair with a lovely rich natural brown looking colour.

But I know within a couple of weeks it will start to wash up and fade into a lightish coppery brown close to my natural colour.

I use herbal essences shampoo & conditioner for coloured hair & Aussie for deep conditioning. Is there anything else I could use/do to prevent colour fading? Can't really afford £££ shampoos & conditioners!

Forgot to add, I usually only wash my hair every two days, but can hang out to three - I'm quite lucky, it doesn't get that greasy or dirty, iykwim?!

Tigi do a good colour protect shampoo and conditioner in a massive bottle, (coppery coloured) for brown hair. Defo works. Sometimes on offer at hairdressers or TK maxx. Can't use anymore due to highlights but swore by that when just had permanent colour.

If you could stretch another day and use dry shampoo that might help? I have a little bottle of Ojon Rub It Out and find it a great boost. Was in a little sample selection so not that £££.

Vo5 colour protect is good. Or loreal colour protect. The shampoo is the most important. You want something that doesn't wash it out! I found some do badly. Aussies colour protect shampoo washed loads of colour out Hmm
