Summery shoes : which ones to wear with skinnies?

Fed up with billowy linen and Riekers: can I wear leggings/ skinnies instead and, if so, with which shoes(not flatties).

I walk a lot, am wide and small of foot (3).

I'm also getting on ( a youthful (self-deluding)54).

Totally agree, wear what you like! I got these and wear them with 7/8th slim leg trousers or slim chinos that roll up at the ankle, very summery and really comfortable. I'm refusing to be 50 btw.

I've just bought those Clarks sandals. Supremely comfortable, even DH thought they looked good. I'm nearly 48...

I have new Next roll up at the ankle chinos, just need it to be warm enough for my tan wedge sandals.
