Has anyone seen a nice summer jacket with a hood? size 16.

I need a jacket with a hood for the summer. If I am not pushing a pram I am holding a little persons hand so need something to keep me dry throughout the good old British summer!

I am 5'5" and a size 16.
Reasonable budget.

Would ideally like something I can smart/casual.

I bought a great summer mac in Fat Face sale yesterday. Light but waterproof with a hood. Can't do a link but they have them in lots of nice summer colours - blue, green and yellow!

Really pleased as I've been looking for one for ages - a nice waterproof is hard to find!

Went for green but hard choice between that and blue one! Been useful today - where has the lovely spring weather gone

I have a fab lightweight waterproof jacket from Lidl of all places, but it is not in anyway stylish so I have just treated myself to a seafolly jacket from seasalt in poppy

I think I got the recommendation reading through older posts on here. It came today and I really like it! It should be warm enough for cooler days, has a decent hood which I think will stay on with ponytail hair (I have big trouble finding hoods big enough for ponytail hair) and should look better with skirts and dresses than my Lidl jacket! I also don't do umbrellas as my hands are too ful!

I came on to say mine is from Fat Face and to try Fat Face too.

This is nice from Fat Face but I could have sworn it came in more colours.

Sea Salt are lovely but aren't they bloody expensive?!

None of the fatface ones are waterproof though, if that's important. I tried the cribbar one but it was too short for me. If you have a reasonable budget you could maybe look for something waterproof and breathable. There was a thread a few days ago here

Thanks everyone, I liked the style of the fatface one but I think I really need a waterproof one. Love the seasalt St Michaels Mount one but it seems a lot for a raincoat!

What about regatta in navy, yellow or white or pale blue on other sites or this one?

The sprayway Siri is lovely, and I can guarantee sprayway as waterproof (have horses!!)
