My DS starts nursery in June and only just realised I will need to name all his belongings. Where is the best place to get name tags (preferably iron on)?

Don't get iron on, they are a complete waste of time and effort. I spent hours ironing them on for DS and they all came off in the first wash. I used stuckonyou. Service was pretty good although the offering has changed quite a bit since I bought mine.

I don't know where the ones for DD came from as my nanny ordered them and she sews them on for me.

Google StickIns - very good by all accounts although I've not used them personally.

Mynametags.Com are brilliant. I bought both clothing labels and normal labels 2 years ago and they are still going strong. I've used them on bottles which are washed and sterilised several times a day and they are still stuck fast. The iron on ones are still attached to muslin cloths that are washed daily. I'm about to make another order for ds2

You can find washable stick on ones on Amazon - I got some when DD strted nursery and they wash well and never come off! www.amazon.co.uk/Personalised-Stickers-STIKINS%C2%AE-Childrens-Labelling/dp/B008JZR9K2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399385293&sr=8-1&keywords=stick+on+name+tags

Stamptastic are good and easy to use

As already said get stickins from www.name-labels.com/. They're brilliant and can use on anything not just clothes, and even better no sewing or ironing Smile

I've been sewing in name tapes for almost 20 years and a few years ago I found a company on ebay doing printed iron on ones. They are plasticky ones the same size as a sew in one and are brilliant. DD boards so I have to label every sock, pair of knickers, even opaque tights. They are fine and last as long as the item I've ironed them onto.

They are called Eze-Pze labels and the website is www.eze.co.uk.

I have very limited time being a working mom, so I wanted something quick and easy to use on my son's clothes and school supplies. After much research taking in consideration price, quality, and quantity, I decided to go with www.mynametags.com.

The final verdict...

They're absolutely fab! I loved how easy it was to design them, that even my son was the one who designed his labels. Additionally, they do have a section with over 9,000 reviews from customers, which helped a bit. For £11.95 I got a set of 56 colour stickers that can be used on clothes and all the school supplies - not time consuming at all.
