Anyone bought anything from the hush s/s collection?

I lusted after loads of their stuff last winter, finally bought a couple of bits and was really disappointed. I now want lots in their spring summer catalogue but am worried I will yet again be disappointed. It is quite expensive for what it is, but I am a sucker for their styling.

Any feedback?

Hi, I've bought 3 things - fluoro v tee, fluoro stripe tee (both in the pink) and the cargos in the khaki. Tees are both lovely - bright vibrant colour & nice fabrics. Cargos not so great - lovely & soft but not mega-flattering - I haven't got big thighs but the pockets make me look like I do...
Tempted to get something else but some of the pieces I like are on back order. HTH.

I bought about a million things from the sample sale, where everything was under a tenner - dresses, trousers, vests, jumpers, tees, scarves, blazer, skirt - I went a bit overboard Grin

Anyway much as I love my haul, I can't help seeing the brand as hugely overpriced now, especially as loads of the stuff I bought is still full price on website.

Wowzers, missed that sample sale. Was that online or in real life? Yes, I agree it is overpriced for what it is.

Might have another little browse....

Sample sale sounds amazing-how do you hear about things like that?

ThisBitchIsResting · 07/05/2014 13:09

They sent out an email for the sample sale. Think it's annual but not sure, the first sample sale I've ever gone to but will def try more brands' sample sales after my success there!

I do have quite a few Hush bits but never at full price - there's usually a 20% off code if you hold nerve, some stuff sells out though. I have the dip hem dress in cobalt for which I paid fp as I missed out on it in the 'shadow' dark grey colour. Before their main sales they have a 20% off presale so if you're desperate for anything that's a good time to get it.

I like the star print jumpers this season, and the coral print jammies. The wrap skirt I will buy if heavily reduced later.

I've bought the long harem trousers, that I seem to keep mentioning on other threads, such is my love for them. Yes, they are pricey but I find the quality good and am definitely getting good cost per wear out of them.

nomoreminibreaks · 08/05/2014 13:42

I have the star jumper (lovely, very light and good loose fit), the fluoro stripe tee in pink (loose fit and gets worn to death), long sleeved scoop white tee (again - gorgeous, wearing it now). I also got the boxy dress in nectarine but it's gone back, I like it but it's not going to work for the wedding I bought it for. Also going back is the stripe tee in nectarine as the colour was quite dull.

Next payday I plan to add the fluoro v neck tee in pink and the v neck jumper in green.

Ugh just had another look at all the things mentioned and I want lots of them!

The star jumper looks lovely, so do the stripey fluoro tops but I'm trying to contain my stripe addiction.

The harems look nice on the model but I'm not sure if they would look good on me. Might try them.

Anyone tried the wrap skirt or ruched skirt? Again, look great on the model but I would probably wear then with black tights and boots rather than bare legs so not sure how great they would be for summer.

Their pricing is strange. Loads of the dresses are cheaper than the tops.

Just to update - I ordered the wrap skirt and ruched skirt in the grey. They were both completely shapeless (I ordered the m/l and am a size 12) but I think they would be too clingy for summer in a smaller size. So they are going back.

I also ordered the Grecian dress in both colours. They were also totally shapeless in the m/l but I don't think I would like the shape anyway. Also going back.

The only thing I am keeping is the denim mini. It is expensive for a denim skirt I think, but it is a lovely colour, shape and length. I will get loads of wear from it I winter with tights and boots too.

The latest 10% off code they sent me is may44 if anyone wants one. Think it is valid til around 2nd June.

I do like the star jumper but it is sold out and seems pricey for what it is.
