Hairstyles for a new mum

I've got a 10 day old dd and obviously have little time to do my hair.

It's quite thick and sits just above my shoulders. My long term plan is to grow it long, so I don't want to cut it. Before dd was born I would use hot rollers and babyliss big brush and straighteners all of which take time I don't have.

I am just sticking it in a ponytail at the moment but it looks rubbish and makes me feel rubbish.

Any tips on how to wear hair up in decent ways that are quick to master?

I always wear mine in a low side ponytail or bun - if you backcomb the crown a little bit first you get more shape.

Have a look on Youtube. I have similar hair to you but my boy is 6 months and he has just started grabbing my hair and pulling it out of a ponytail.
It really winds me up so I had a look on youtube and now I plait my grown out chin length fringe at the side and use a donut to make a bun.
Takes no time at all.
