Avon home waxing kit.

Just had a a go with Avon skin so soft cold waxing strips and just seemed to get very sticky.
Worked well on upper lip - not much there anyway but did nothing on eyebrows.
Was I doing it wrong or does the product not work. Has anyone else tried? TIA
