no you can't, the fashion police will come and chop your legs off and put you in prison.

yes of course you can!

PeachyClairHasBadHair · 30/08/2006 16:04

No way Grey, it makes me feel- well- grey. Refuse beige for the same reason.

Red- now there's a temptation....

Pinafores do me a treat (being not ample in the bust department), already have one from last time arouns but will see what I can find.

Suggestions for a REALLY warm coat please? For someone who spends November outdoors, is on a stuent budget and lies in chilly Wales wher it is so much colder than Somerset boo hoo

Ooh I want a coat with "something about it"!!!! What would you suggest Malory?

MrsBadger · 01/09/2006 08:33

the red M&S coat recommended on the I want a warm stylish coat thread is a winner if you are small of nork - there were some other good ones on there too.

janeite · 01/09/2006 16:25

Gorgeous - but am not "small of nork" unfortunately!

Thanks Mallory - am 5' 2", curvy size 12, brunette. Most of my clothes are black, grey, brown, or red.

I have a decent winter grey coat but would really like an Autumnal coat/jacket - smarter, longer and warmer than a denim one which is the only other one I have. Thankyou!

parka

KristinaM · 01/09/2006 21:26

saw that red autograph coat in M&S toady - it was lovely! Sadly not for the big norked and short necked like me [sob]

There was also a beuatiful cream and black one - for those without kids. sorry cant find it on teh website

LiliLaTigresse · 01/09/2006 21:32

well I have a rather great fitted light grey jumper bought in France to wear either with a little vest underneath (as deep V) or a fab black silk blouse with a little white detailing

gorgeous I tell ya

so far quite shocked at the ugliness of clothes in shops at the moment
hope it gets better soon

ocd · 01/09/2006 21:32

i like grey a lot

better than balck which suiteth me not

LiliLaTigresse · 01/09/2006 21:33

agree cod
grey very smart
i don't do beige though as washes me out
my mum says black suits me, but not entirely sure, maybe it does when tanned?

Blondilocks · 01/09/2006 21:38

I will be wearing my lovely new Jane Norman jumper ... when it gets cold enough!

That & jeans probably.

So is it ok to wear the black tights with sandals then?
