Smart but comfy shoes needed in a hurry

I've recently started working in a job that involves travelling and quite a bit of walking/standing. I need to look smartish but unfortunately the shoes I'd chosen to wear (not in a position to buy loads of new things) have ripped my feet to shreds :(. I need to get something else quickly but no idea what - has to go with slim black trousers as those are my default workwear. Any ideas for smartish, cheapish but most of all not-going-to-hurt-my-feet shoes?

What sort of style are you after? Black?

CambridgeBlue · 04/05/2014 19:48

That would help wouldn't it! I think flattish and black would be the most versatile.

I recently bought Clark's Hamble Oak brogues for work and I live them! Very comfy and like you, I am on my feet most of the day.

These skechers pumps are seriously comfy, they are well cushioned so will support you whilst on your feet all day.

I second the Clark's brogues.

CambridgeBlue · 04/05/2014 22:20

Actually I have got some brogues but unfortunately they're brown, don't think they'd go. The Sketchers look really comfy but probably not quite smart enough. I like the Next ones (and could order online - bonus) but not sure if flats would be more practical.

Definitely given me a few things to think about, thanks :)

I really like those, that style could definitely work.
