Where can I buy VB skinnies with the crown pockets?

Or are these considered naff these days?

I'd like to invest in a good, flattering pair of designer jeans as I wear them loads and could justify the cost per wear.

I like the smart look, so I'd go for indigo or black, really skinny all the way to the ankle (am 8/10 with no hips so can just about get away with it) and medium rise as although I'm slim, I do have a tendency for a 'pot belly' and anything low sits on the widest part of my gut, making it look bigger and shows my arse crack when I sit/bend down.

I should also add I have a flattish backside so anything that could make that a little more pert looking would be a bonus (probably only a magic wand..)

I love the crown motifs on the back pockets of the VB jeans but can't seem to find them online anywhere?

Does anyone have any suggestions for these or any other quality brands that meet my rather exacting requirements Grin

Thank you!

Bloody typical, notice I post this just as a thread runs about everyone being fed up of skinnies! I'm usually late to the game when it comes to fashion but the boyfriend jeans look hideous on me.

They look ok… in fact I tried them on a few years ago but there are tons out there.

If you're near London try Selfridges - they have a jeans dept that sources everything from VB to Religion to 7 for all Mankind, Paper Denim Cloth etc and Primark.

and ignore what's in or out. I prefer skinnies with a bit of stretch or high rise skinnies.

You can get VB jeans at Selfridges, Net a Porter & My Wardrobe but I don't think she does the crown logo any more.

VB skinnies here

Other brands worth checking out are J Brand, Current Elliott, Citizens of Humanity, 7 For all Mankind...

x post

You might be able to pick up some VB crown logo jeans on ebay OP.

DreamsOfParadise · 04/05/2014 15:05

I'm not too far from London so could do a trip to Oxford street one weekend but must confess to feeling a bit intimidated in the big shops which is why I tend to hide behind the iPad when it comes to clothes shopping.

Didn't think of eBay, I will have a look. I just thought the crown added a bit of interest and might add a bit of 'bulk' to my backside region but if she no longer does it, then it might make them look 'dated'?

SecretSales outlet had VB jeans last month, maybe have a look there?

SuperFlyHigh · 04/05/2014 15:08

Dreams - I was in Selfridges years ago in their denim dept and seriously they're so lovely and helpful…

the reason I suggest there is if you say what you like they're bound to do others….

I got some diamante (blue) back pocket James jeans there sort of skinny but fitted. But they will have LOADS!

How about if she still does them the Kimora Lee Simmons (?) with the cat logo? they're blingy

LA Idol do some but they'd have to be shipped. I think

Book a denim consultation with Selfridges - they'll pre-select huge pile of great jeans in your size and preferred style ready and waiting to go and a lovely denim expert to run around getting you alternative sizes.

DreamsOfParadise · 04/05/2014 15:33

Thanks ladies, I've just had a look at your Selfridges link Super and they have some lovely ones (on the model that is!).

I didn't even know they did a denim consultation Bunny, that seriously is just what I need. I've been to 2 major shopping centres in the past few weeks and come home with nothing on both occasions. I've got the work wear side of me sussed but when it comes to casual, I haven't got a clue. I get serious overload in most places and after the first few shops I just give up!

A consultation sounds perfect!

Dreams - i think that's what I had in Selfridges a jeans consultation - honestly they were amazing as IamaThrillseeker said and run around grabbing tons of styles etc.

well worth it!

Donna Ida are brill if you find (like me) Selfridges can be a bit overwhelming. I went in there when DD was tiny and a really helpful sales assistant gave me a giant changwon room and found loads of different pairs for me to try on. They really know their stock.

AndIFeedEmGunpowder · 04/05/2014 16:26

*changing!

Sleepwhenidie · 04/05/2014 16:32

Go to Selfridges, honestly, the customer service in the denim studio is amazing, so helpful and knowledgable, huge range that the staff know well, so if you say you like a certain style they will pick you that from half a dozen makes to try-and keep bringing you more if necessary. Keep in mind that many American labels are much cheaper from shopbop so if you end up liking JBrands/mother/rag and bone rather than VB you would do better ordering from there Wink.
