I really want one but not sure if you need to be 22, tall and thin to look good in one?

I'm five foot 2 although I'm slim ish (size 8) I don't know if it would drown me cus of my small height. I've seen a lovely one in miss Selfridge that's black and plain but not sure if I'd be better with a printed style one...

I'm clueless, not long had a baby and feel a bit at sea fashion wise Sad as lived in joggers my whole pregnancy

(And also, what shoes would one wear with it?

Im 5ft 1, size 10 aged 30 and just got one so I hope its 'allowed'

If you are comfy in it then go for it. My biggest concern is its for a night out and toilet trips could be fun!

Lol sirzy mines for a night out too and I had exact same thought re (drunk) loo visits Grin

What shoes are you going to wear with yours?

Sorry but jumpsuits were very 80's. I didn't have one then either because being just under 5ft I could only get them from Tammy Girl! The danger of wearing the same style/colour as a 7 year old put my 18 year old self in a world of horror and nightmares.

splodgeness · 04/05/2014 12:09

I am 45 and just bought one for my holidays. Not sure if I can get away with it. Will wear with high heels and a glitzy clutch bag.

Sorry, like skater dresses I think they make people look like little girls. If you are short in the first place you may look like you have arrested development and don't want to grow up.

BubaMarra · 04/05/2014 12:26

I think as you are slim you can wear a jumpsuit, but you really need to be careful when you chose. The key is to find one that will not look oversized which happens a lot if you are small AND slim. Petite range would be ideal. And you need to look for a better quality ones, better fabric, good cut. if you don't want to look like a 13 year old, than you must not buy brands targeted to teenagers. Phase eight from the link above would be a smart choice I guess.

AmberNectarine · 04/05/2014 12:32

I think jumpsuits can look fabulous and very sophisticated but for petites they need to be tailored, probably slim legged and waist defining.

Ooh that phase 8 one is nice Envy

It's similar to the one I want

Can't get the page to work properly but the Roana one here looks nice and fitted. Or this one. Both expensive though.

50ShadesOfSummer · 05/05/2014 13:06

As Amber says they can look good, but they do need to be fitted at the waist. Also, you need to confident of the shapeliness of your backside!

If those things apply, go for it!

i have the second one that that Remus linked to. I'm 5ft 5 so a little taller but petite and I love it. I was worried about looking a bit 'girly' too - have tried jumpsuits on before and thought they weren't for me - but this is tailored really well and is flattering on. I have these that I'm hoping to wear with it. A finer shoe might be better although these are less clumpy on than they look online.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 05/05/2014 14:54

Lovely shoes, Heather.

Thanks Remus Smile I'm really pleased with them.
