What shoes do you wear with jeans?

I don't have any trainers, black leather shoes look a bit odd, too warm for boots, too cold for sandals so what can I wear?

these

I wear ballet pumps. Just got a cheapy grey pair from Asda (above). Im north east england so pretty nippy up here but I never seem to have cold feet.

Or I wear my slim style converse.

Karbea · 02/05/2014 22:09

Ballet pumps for me.

frankietwospots · 02/05/2014 22:12

Leopard high-tops for me.

TheLastThneed · 02/05/2014 22:13

Shouldn't that be 'With a jean'? Grin

I heard Holly W talking about 'a tight' the other day....

Cocolepew · 02/05/2014 22:17

Converse.

Locketjuice · 02/05/2014 22:18

Vans/skinny converse/skinny vans or that shape anyway

NotALondoner · 02/05/2014 22:48

So basically converse or pumps? Would leather ballet pumps be ok? Or suede?

Ballet pumps would be fine, I just don't wear them because they are too flat for me. Loafers or brogues look good too , Primark have a lot.

Madamecastafiore · 03/05/2014 18:47

Ash Virgins.

iklboo · 03/05/2014 18:49

Yep - converse or ballet pumps for me, too.

KatoPotato · 03/05/2014 18:52

I've been trying to be smarter recently so have been wearing mid height court shoes with jeans and blazers. These are comfy:

I think it's a tricky fashion conundrum Grin

I wear those ash boots that everybody's got. The other option is ballet flats although I really hate them (not on others I hasten to add) but they make me walk funny, like a duck. I also like to wear a bit more of a shoe (along with a tight Wink). Something a bit more substantial, not necessarily with a heel but with structure and ballet flats fail on that.

What about a fashionable brogue? Or would you feel like a city chap doing dress down Friday quite badly?

Merguez · 03/05/2014 21:03

No no no

Merguez · 03/05/2014 21:04

That was at the court shoes, not the brogue

SanityClause · 03/05/2014 21:06

What about with a bootleg jean? (Sorry)

Cocolepew · 03/05/2014 21:21

I wear my Converse with bootleg jeans, low and high tops.

I have highish wedges that I wear if the bootleg jeans are very long so they are mostly covered.

PeppermintInfusion · 03/05/2014 21:55

Converse, vans or new balance in the trainer department.

Ballet /other flats for something a bit smarter. Next and new look always have a good selection. M&S for something with a slight heel.

Bunbaker · 03/05/2014 22:00

I wear Sketchers with mine. I walk a lot and need something comfortable and supportive for striding about. Ballet pumps and Converse style shoes are OK if I am not walking about much, but not great for proper walking and don't give me enough support.

SorrelForbes · 03/05/2014 22:06

Converse Dance and loafers
