Am wearing a wrap dress for the first time tonight. Which side do the tie bits go on?

The bit where the edges meet or the other side? And are they tied into some sort of loop or left dangling?

am too late but recommend tying in a knot like you'd use on a necktie - neat and ends hang straight down rather than sticking out sideways. Also good for dressing gowns.
