Talk fragrance to me. Any wearers of CK Euphoria, Jimmy Choo, Bulgari Omnia, Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche?

Hello, sweet-smelling mumsnetters. I have a perfume question related to any of the above fragrances that I'd like to pick your brains about.

I'm exceedingly choosy about perfumes and rarely find one I like. Do any of you love any on this list? If so, what else do you like - please and thank you!

Have you tried Lancome la vie est belle? It smells gorgeous!! I also have both the Jimmy choo perfumes and love them..sweet smelling scents in general are quite appealing to me :)

Thank you SO much - I remember having sampled that moons ago and I'd forgotten all about it! I will have another try today. :)

I adore Euphoria and always get comments about it when I wear it.

I also like Sarah Jessica Parker "Lovely" and Estee Lauder Fifth Avenue.

Sidge · 02/05/2014 10:14

I have Jimmy Choo Flash and I love it!

Also love Euphoria, and if you want a cheapie but nice one then Next Just Pink and Cashmere are nice.

LoveVintage · 02/05/2014 10:17

Oh yes, I also love Next Just Pink! It is quite cheap but smells very like Ralph Lauren Romance which is also lovely.

BB01 · 02/05/2014 13:15

Just Pink is amazing!! I also love Yves Saint Laurent Baby Doll

Gillybobs · 02/05/2014 13:18

I love Jimmy CHoo and CHanel Chance Eau Fraiche and have also repurchased Givenchy Very Irresistible and Armani Diamonds a few times

itsnothingoriginal · 02/05/2014 19:03

I wear Jimmy Choo Flash and La vie est Belle - adore both of them!

You could try some of the Britney Spears ones too (yes I know Blush) but they are surprisingly nice and suited to those of us who love sweeter scents.

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/05/2014 19:06

I wear Jimmy Choo and love it. I also like Vera Wang Princess but can't wear it as it is DD1's favourite.

BB01 · 02/05/2014 19:18

Yep second the Britney suggestion. I got a free sample and it was surprisingly lovely

SimplyDarling · 05/05/2014 23:56

Thank you for all these lovely suggestions. I'm remembering Very Irresistible and Diamonds now -- have sniffed before at the counters but never purchased and so forgotten. My problem has been limited time to investigate, so it's great to have some direction. :)

I am very keen on Guerlain. They are a traditional perfume house and Mitsuko is wonderful. I also love trying out their perfumes in stores such as House of Fraser and then tend to buy them on line or at the airport where they are a bit cheaper.

Dolce and Gabbana Intense is very nice

GeorgieB89 · 06/05/2014 09:38

There's a new website launching - perfumesociety.org (I am NOTHING to do with it) which facilitates perfume lovers exploring various fragrances; I think they do sample boxes, too. IIRC, the idea is you input the fragrances you love and the website will, amongst other things, give you other suggestions. I doubt the list of fragrances is exhaustive but it might be worth a browse if you're interested in fragrance, as it also gives details of bottle design, noses etc.

AyUpMiDuck · 07/05/2014 18:02

I love Vivienne Westwood Boudoir and Aldi's (or is it Lidl?) Suddenly Madame - think its meant to be a copy of Coco Mademoiselle but IMO nicer and not so heady.
I second or third the Britney Spear's Curious - always get compliments on that one.
Years ago I had a Jovan (they do loads of musk) mid-market priced spray called - wait for it - Sex Appeal for Women! It had a shocking pink plastic top so I didn't expect much from it however it was the most feminine lovely scent and everyone adored it. Have tried to find it - got on the Jovan website and ordered a few others to see if they had changed the name and re-launched it: nada.

Have a sniff of Marks & Spencer fragrances - they have top perfumiers (sp?) creating the scents and the Miller Harris range is excellent.

Mummylicious14 · 07/05/2014 21:21

I love the Play by Givenchy, jimmy choo and used to wear Curious a few years ago and always got compliments. At the moment wearing the new Lacoste and my hubby got me the Valentino by Valentina which he says smells very sophisticated and sexy. I love perfumes but need a new one as once it is finished I can't get the same one as it tends not to agree with me. This thread is so useful and will be trying some new ones that I've not tried before

LJBanana · 07/05/2014 21:27

Gucci Envy Me is lovely. There are so many beautiful fragrances from Liz Earl which aren't as main stream. If you can find a store that stocks them I'd definitely recommend a sniff!

Postchildrenpregranny · 07/05/2014 21:45

Try Dolce Vita (Dior) . I've worn it since I bought my daughter Rive Gauche for her 18th and had to stop wearing it myself . I also like Manifesto (YSL) and Little Black Dress (Givenchy I think) of newer ones. I love Penhalgion Bluebell for summer (Kate Moss apparently wears it), but Penhalgion perfumes don't linger for long.
