New Balance - are they comfortable or just fashion shoes,

I want some trendier looking shoes that I can walk long distances in when I'm sightseeing! I've seen a couple of articles featuring them and think they look good - but are they up to the job or should I stick with my white reeboks?

I LOVE new balance. Bothe for running (really suit my gait) but the more retro every day wear ones I love. I have a job where I'm in trainers all day every day and I've had mine since December and they are still going strong. Think I'm going to get the same style when these ones are done with

I've got some NB V4 but they are proper running shoes. They are incredibly light and comfortable. On the fashion end of things you probably need to take a trip to your local Office/Offspring and try on a pair. Personally I like the retro '80s look they do right now.

I also run in NB shoes. Their heritage is in running shoes, so I reckon the retro day wear trainers that are in fashion at the moment will be pretty comfy.

They are really comfortable. I have the 410 which are the more fashion ones but I can walk for hours in them.

I've got the fashiony ones - 410 I think - and they are like slippers :)

I have the 574 in blue and green and white. They are mega comfy. Amazing.

I have 574's in bright green and a more subtle navy pair. It is like walking on pillows, they are so comfy, I love them.

I did try a pair of 420's but they came up small and didn't fit. They weren't so cushioned in the sole either and I didn't like the look of them so much.

I bought 410s recently and they're really comfy. I would definitely recommend them.

If it's just for sightseeing that you want comfy footware for, why not consider these sketchers? They are lighter than trainers so your feet wont overheat & they look like ballerinas with grips.

Another vote for 410's. So comfy, I can walk for miles in them.

I can vouch for 410s. Super comfy from the 1st moment of wearing. No need to break them in. I wear them for fashion purposes after having lived in Converse for far too long.

What's the fit like on the 410s, I have it in my head they come up small for some reason?

I've got the retro looking 420, they are narrow & come up slightly small so I went up a size.
I wear them all the time, they're so comfy.

I've just ordered some green 410's and tan 420's from ASOS. They've got 25% student discount at the moment if you can use that, so down to 45 quid each.

They're a narrow fit I think.
