Can i get away with nude shoes with my bridesmaid dress?

Dress is "cadbury purple" and floor length, with diamontes on the top half.
Bride doesnt care what I wear on my feet at all.

Money is tight, so I was going to just get a cheapy pair of ballet pumps. First thought silver, but if nude would go, I think they'll be more use afterwards.

What do you think?

I would go black rather than nude, or the silver would be nice but I think nude would look odd- sorry.

Haha, no need to be sorry, I did think it sounded weird hence why i asked Grin

I think nude would be ok actually, so long as they are not to shiny plasticky. Silver would be ok too. Black might be odd. When is wedding? would sandals be better?
