want to start full body waxing regularly but what do you do inbetween waxes?

I am going to start swimming daily from next Monday and I don't want to shave every other day. I would like to start waxing but I just don't know what to do about that in-between period.

Should I just wax once a week before the hair even shows signs of growing back?

Also uncertain on which wax would be best. I have very sensitive skin so a little nervous. Any recommendations?

You need to wait 3/4 weeks b/w waxes so that the hair has a chance to grow.
I always go to salon & get hot wax for bikini line. In-between stage is a bit of a problem. Bikini shorts? or hope the pool is dark enough so people don't really notice Grin

Yeah you need wait till hair grows back to be waxed again as the wax needs hair to grip on to, I buy exfoliating pad things from amazon (it's like fine sandpaper on a pad) and I take that over my legs on holiday to keep hair at bay

Get an epilator. I like the Braun Silkepil ones - the ones with an inbuilt light are great. They can pluck out much shorter hairs than waxing.

Epilator on the bikini line sounds a bit fierce? Doesn't it hurt quite badly?

amazonianwoman · 02/05/2014 07:03

No it's not bad at all, at least not after the first couple of goes!

I wouldn't do a full Brazilian with it, but it's fine to get rid of anything that would be exposed by a swimming costume Grin

Have you thought about ipl instead?

hollowhallows · 02/05/2014 13:42

Thanks for the reply's ladies!

Well the swimming pool has huge windows to one side of it so its sadly very bright. Doubt I could get away with it Stokey. I can just imagine the poor lifeguards face when confronted with my 5 o'clock shadow Blush

Used to do the whole full body epilator treatment but my hair grows way too fast to make it worth it and I get awful ingrown hairs with it too.

I'm thinking about the IPL and have been looking at the Philips Lumea. Its frightfully expensive though!

I would just buy one of those thigh length swim suits but they give me camel toe Blush

Hmm... To IPL or not to IPL, at 400, that is the question.
