I can't choose tops! only have vest/cardi or shirts

I want some nice cheaper end tops that could go with jeans and heels or work trousers
I end up with vest cardi combo or odd worky blouses and tend to stay with plain colours.
Any inspiration for me?
And what I would wear on top?
(I am nesh)

Have a look in Oasis or Warehouse, recently got tops from both which work for going out, casual or work, depending on what you wear with them. Sorry I can't link as I'm on my phone but one was sleeveless navy print, one cream silky with flowers and a damson top with butterflies. I normally wear plain rather than prints but these are nice and you could still wear a cardie over them for day and on their own at night, with skinniest, work trousers or whatever. Not sure if thats the sort of thing you're looking for but HTH!

New Look has some nice things too and reasonably priced.

I wear tops like this with a plain cardigan, normally a boyfriend style.

DaftSkunk · 29/04/2014 21:26

Also ASOS may be worth a try too.

DaftSkunk · 29/04/2014 21:30

ASOS

46direct · 29/04/2014 23:52

Is that dressy enough for work and going out ? Daftskunk? I'm crap at tops!

Meaning the asos
Like the dp one although would never have picked it.
So clueless.
Why do I have a tops blank?!

I think it depends where you work. That last one would be way too casual for my office.

How about this sort of thing, ie long sleeved, more tunic-y. I love that particular one.

Justinepants · 30/04/2014 00:26

Or this?

Justinepants · 30/04/2014 00:29

Or this?

DaftSkunk · 30/04/2014 07:06

The last one is a bit casual, I probably wouldn't wear it work, sorry I got a bit carried away with tops I liked!

DaftSkunk · 30/04/2014 07:06

to work

46direct · 30/04/2014 07:46

I like the tunic one. Don't tend to wear tunics so its something to try.
I like the blue one.
Was thinking a bit cheaper.
Must go shopping!

Dotty p's will bombard you with discount codes if you register with them.

DaftSkunk · 30/04/2014 10:17

The DP one is really nice, they also have a paisley one too which is lovely. I'm on no spend at the moment but I'm really tempted!

Justinepants · 30/04/2014 18:05

I'm sure Primark or wherever will have similar, cheaper ones. There seem to be lots around.

I must get on but I've just found a couple of other possibles: this
