I can't find any SMALL glasses: size 51, possibly semi-rimless.

I lost my glasses. Sad
I am so cross with myself, because I liked them.
My optician has searched, but they don't seem to make them anymore.
I think they were a Kodak.

Anyway, I have searched and searched , but can't seem to find any.
I have quite a small face. I want some semi rimless. possibly silver. I want them to be non descript and delicate.
But most glasses are size 52 and are just too big. The designs are too bold. They dominate my face.
My old ones were a size 51.
But I can't seem to find any.
I have searched under 'teen' section.
Thinking that teenagers might want slightly smaller ones. But a lot of the designs are huge and bold.

I would order kids ones, but they are actually too small, and if they weren't all ben 10 and angelina ballerina!!

Please does anyone have any links?
Or any suggestions?

I want to find a pair. And then get my local optician to order them.
I have ordered on-line before. But I now prefer to be able to pop in and get him to adjust the nose settings, as often as I need, etc,

I did find a pair I liked. On e-bay:ebay
But they were a size 52. And £170 seemed a lot to pay. For a pair I can't try on.

What do you think?
Please.

I think it's fashion - bold is in. Sorry.

Had no idea about sizes for glasses, btw, despite wearing them for best part of 30 years. I must be average...

It's only 1mm difference, so shouldn't be hugely noticeable. You need to be looking at other sizes, too, such as the bridge and arm length as well as the exact lens shape - a small difference there can really affect how they fit your face.

I will confess that I'm pleased about the current trend for bolder frames, as they suit me better and work better with my varifocals. DH struggles, though, as he's very short sighted and needs a small lens. He had to resort to ordering online, last time round.

thank you both.
I do look at all the measurements.
I just didn't realise that it was going to be THIS hard.

Lots of lafont and face a face are relatively small (esp the nose bridge). Tom Ford, Kate Spade, Anna Sui I think too but mostly US brands so more difficult to find. Prodesign might have some too.
I was on a website last have night where you could type in the desired specifics and it listed matches....will have a look in my history for that one.

I always try for a 48 with a 14/15 bridge.

Jai Kudo & Anne et Valentine are two brands that do a variety of shapes.

Glasses sizes are not standard, despite the manufacturers claiming that they are. I have a tiny face, as does my glasses-wearing dd and it is hard to find frames that suit. Ime, there is no substitute for visiting as many opticians as you can and trying on as many pairs as possible. This is time-consuming, but you will eventually find something you like.

Thanks. Been back to my opticians today.
It turns out that my old glasses were not a 51, but actually a 47.
47-17.
So the nose is much smaller than the standard 19 aswell.
So really small. Children's really.

Will have to carry on looking.

Thanks for all the advice though.
Going on holiday now.
So will have to just traipse round opticians, when I get back.....
So not looking forward to it.

I have a similar problem and struggle to find glasses that don't take over my head. I buy red or dead glasses that have small rectangular frames

Very similar to these but these are a little too big.

Maybe these from the teen range? They fit your size brief.

I love my glasses so much that at my last test I bought 2 more pairs identical to the ones I already own.

Also found these quicksilver ones. Also teens though.
