Can anyone help me with this one? I'm going to a summer ball in a few of weeks. I've got a long lavender blue satiny dress to wear and need some shoes or sandals. They have to be cheap (£50 max) and fairly low heeled. I'm looking for something that I can wear afterwards during the daytime, so not too dressy. I was thinking of silver or other metallic. Everything I can see which might be otherwise suitable has an ankle strap, which with shorter dresses will make my legs look even more stumpy than they are. Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.
