I posted about my hairdresser visit when the hairdresser was very honest about my hair -

Well its still short but softening a lot I think and very bravely have put a pic on my profile. I will be removing it shortly though. I also hate having pics taken so...as self esteem is still fragile constructive comments only! I know there is work to do but think it looks on the right lines?
Sorry about fleece wearing - was in after work casuals!

I think as your fringe gets longer it'll suit you. I think you're on the right lines, hang on in there!

KoalaFace · 27/04/2014 15:31

Waiting for hair to grow into the style you want can be so frustrating! I feel your pain. But it is what hair does - it grows!

Starting with a sever "short back and sides" to where you are now in just a couple of weeks is great! It's softening. A couple of months will make a huge difference.

You're haircol

KoalaFace · 27/04/2014 15:32

...haircolour is lovely btw!

Bifauxnen · 27/04/2014 15:33

Looks fine to me and will look even better with just a tiny bit more length imo (but I'm something of a fugitive from fashion so ymmv).
Not fashion related but you look like a thoroughly pleasant person, it's an old cliche but that kind of thing always shines through and makes people more attractive.

RhondaJean · 27/04/2014 15:34

You know, that quite suits you, it's maybe just a little severe but with short hair like that it will soften out really quickly ie in a matter of a few weeks and will look really lovely.

I've just had a crop after a past shoulder bob (long story, I've put on S&B but I ended up having 2 haircuts in 5 days)

I love it, it's easy to wash, dry, my colour looks better (all the old brown dye cut out and I'm coppery brown)
I have more fringe than you have, my first haircut went from wispy to thicker so I've kept that.
It can gel or mousse to soften and sweep back.
And yes, make-up and earrings, but it's all sitting there, might as well use it.

And as I'm now Inner HotHouse Hormonal age, it's much nicer to wash daily.

I would say though - the eyebrow word. Makes a huge difference in framing. Mine are a bit meh so I notice a huge difference when I apply them.

Your hair is a gorgeous colour too. (I'll overlook the fleece Wink )

RhondaJean · 27/04/2014 15:35

You do look pleasant, you have a kind and friendly face.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 27/04/2014 15:36

I think it's great, fab colour and you carry it well :)

FiscalCliffRocksThisTown · 27/04/2014 15:37

Grow the fringe a bit, maybe.

Nice colour and nice face :)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/04/2014 15:38

I think as the fringe grows it will look better and better.

I've recently had mine cut v short but with a longer fringe, and find that wearing earrings and lipstick makes a difference in softening it up.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 27/04/2014 15:39

And yes, your hair colour is really lovely. :)

WhoNickedMyName · 27/04/2014 15:43

The colour is lovely, the fringe needs to be longer, once it is, that will soften it up a lot.

EnlightenedOwl · 27/04/2014 15:51

ooh thanks feel more encouraged now!!! Can see huge improvement already in just a few weeks. For work do wear jewellery and a bit of make up but had got home and then its suit off, pyjama party.
The other issue I've got is I hate having pics taken and got to have new work photos done in a few months so will feel better about pics if hair etc a lot better.
