Small (ish) cross body bag - where to look?

I really need a new bag, preferably cross body not all leather and not too big but big enough for essentials plus e.g. snack for ds or kindle or apple.

I love White Stuff and Fat face but none of their bags quite right. I love

but it just seems a bit too small. Can any of you wise people point me towards anything similar or give me ideas of other places to look?

Thank you!

I am looking for a new handbag that fits the ryanair extra bag size of 35x20x20 to fit all essential travel 'bits' in.
looking for a simple classic design that could be used for other occasions, upto around £50 if anyone can help? thanksSmile

Ooh thank you! Not heard of them before but I really likethe flowery ones if I am brave enough to go for something so bold.

emark Hijack away... do Ryanair now do extra bags on top of carry on luggage? Dimensions seem huge for a handbag, should have plenty of choice.

I like Kipling bags. Available from Amazon in lots of styles and colours. Good quality and sometimes good discounts especially you're flexible about which colour you pick.

I have the White Stuff one & it is really very small.... but lovely!

Mulberry Antony is my favourite smaller cross body. Fits a kindle, purse, keys, phone and lippy if arranged right :) There have been issues with mulberry quality of late though so go into a mulberry shop and have a feel!

Clarks have nice smallish ones in the sale for £24.99.

The top three.

The cross-body bag is every Mother's necessity. Kipling have lots and if you have a TK Maxx near you they often have them discounted to around £20 (instead of £50). Dickins and Jones (in House of Fraser) have some lovely ones, too.

Sorry for not reading this properly and sounding like a bit of a dick for recommending mulberry (I saved and saved for my Antony bag and am a wee bit evangelical about it!)
Definitely second Clarks - great quality leather bags and they often have 20% off sales, I got a huge tote from there and it's lasted years!

Thanks all - off to have a look in TK Maxx!
hedgehog good to know that the White Stuffbag really is as small as it seems (well, not good as I want it but good that I know not to buy it as it really does look lovely but I'd need a bigger bag too).
