floaty chiffon dress - will I look like a bridesmaid?

I have a good friend's wedding coming up and am on the hunt for dresses. I can't seem to find any I like, I don't like them to cling and I am quite self-conscious about my legs so need them to be knee-length. I would happily wear the one in the pic but don't want to be seen as trying to get in with the bridal party. Is it too bridesmaidy?

I think the only problem would be if the bridesmaids were dress in green - otherwise I think it's ideal for a wedding. Smile

It won't look bridesmaidy unless the bridesmaids are on this color! I'dalso go for something to cover my shoulders, bolero type thingy too.

Sorry about american autocorrect of colour.

Oh really? Was expecting to be told off for trying to be a bridesmaid Grin. Colours for bridal party are more along the lines of a dusty purple.
