I've got one navy stripey swimsuits but it is seriously boring. i have seen some lovely bikinis but I am too old an chubby for all the good ones. :(

I'm looking for something nice, black and quite cheap.

Inspire me please!

Marks and Salisbury's have some nice ones

Bunbaker · 26/04/2014 11:56

For the last three years we have been to Italy and Croatia. Just about every woman wears a bikini regardless of her age and shape.

Debenhams have a fantastic range of swimwear right now. M & S have loads in as well.

MikeLitoris · 26/04/2014 12:04

I've been in debenhams and marksies today and can't find anything I like.

I am to fussy

BHS? John Lewis? House of Fraser? A sportswear shop?

Marylou2 · 26/04/2014 13:19

Figleaves! They are amazing.Something for every shape and size.

WheresRyder · 26/04/2014 13:37

Boden halter neck low cut leg ones. Some spotty ones from asda of all places and braving a bikini for the first time I think it's curvy kate. I've lost weight but
Am still really self conscious of my crepey wrinkled tummy. Bit thought sod it. If it comes out of the case remains to be seen.

MikeLitoris · 26/04/2014 15:24

Tried everywhere I could think today and nothing. Lovely one in New look but not in the right size.

Can figleaves be bought in shops? I'd really prefer to avoid online if possible.

I need a 32f top so most of the ones that are sized 10-12 etc are no good. Unless I get a size 14 but then the back never fits.

I was in John Lewis today and they have a nice selection with tops and bottoms sold separately, or Bravissimo usually have a few particularly for the well endowed.

SorrelForbes · 26/04/2014 16:56

Bravissimo have a good selection. I also like Hoola.

obladeeobladahla · 26/04/2014 17:09

H&M have some gorgeous bikinis out.

lurkingaround · 26/04/2014 17:28

You need cup sized ones. Useless going for a sized (10, 12 etc) top. I'm between 28 and 30 F to G. Order on line? I haven't seen anything I like in M&S. Next have a one I might try. Figleaves are good. New Look have one or 2 but they were a 32 and uncomfortably loose. I'm not as exact buying bikini tops, ill go up to a 32 if its nice. I do have a Primark size 12 from last year. It's pretty but let's just say I don't move very quickly in it. Not the most secure bikini ever.

MikeLitoris · 26/04/2014 19:36

I've looked at figleaves and have a couple in my basket.

Debenhams and John Lewis were terrible today.

Swimwear365 site has some lovely swim and beachwear. Bit pricey but 20% off first order.

Hellokittycat · 26/04/2014 19:51

How many swimsuits would you take on a 2 week hol? 2 enough?

Bunbaker · 26/04/2014 19:56

I would only take two. It isn't a fashion parade. I would have one drying off and one to wear.

MikeLitoris · 26/04/2014 20:05

I normally take two. I've lost a stone in weight so last year's don't really fit.

I've just bought this bikini (with the shorts bottoms)

MikeLitoris · 26/04/2014 21:04

I love that sorrel

I'm all bikinied out for today. I'll try again tomorrow.

Thanks all.

Asos have a big range of cup sized bikinis - I was converted last year to the idea, and their free shipping and returns meant I ordered loads and kept most and returned those that didn't fit. Cleo by Panache, and Calvin Klein were the brands I liked best.

MikeLitoris · 27/04/2014 20:00

I've ordered one from Asos and picked up a nice one in sainsburys today.
