If you've got 40something greasy skin, what's your skincare routine? and can you recommend some miracle products?

I have just started trying to look after my skin, and, as I totally got that the skin produces more oil if you strip it of oil, I started using serum and stuff on it. But it's made it so greasy and shiny - all the time!

If your skin is greasy (yes, it's very attractive isn't it! but on the bright side I don't have wrinkles) - what do you use on your skin?

My main aim was to minimise discolouration that appeared when I was pregnant and also to reduce pore size which seemed to have grown overnight. But now I look like a shiny oil slick.

I have slimmed down my regime to Garnier micellar water and aveeno moisturiser and my skin is better than it has been in years, I could even go without make up if I dared.

I've got some micellar water in my amazon basket already (along with around 40 other products!), I will try that - thanks

I have to conclude that the Superdrug Vit E stuff is no good for my skin. I'm looking so shiny. Worse than I did a week ago before this stuff. At least it was a cheap mistake.

I did used to be ok with the Eve Lom hot flannel stuff, and demologica too but was looking for something cheaper!

(there's no way I can go without makeup at the moment and it's that that's got me galvanised to try stuff).

I use the clearasil 12 hour results scrub, once a day in the shower.
Then boots own moisturiser if my skin fees a bit dry that day, loving the lack of wrinkles also
