Ok, i have 3 social events coming up over the next month.

1st one a Golden Wedding Anniversay party, 2nd my sons party and 3rd a disco/robbie williams tribute act with the in laws.

I never ever ever go out so dont know what is a good look, i also have big norks and am a size 16/18 and dont have a clue, i am after something that will hide my stomach.

Please can the style guru,s help me out.

how old is son? If under 7 fgs wear jeans, you'll spend all your time crawling on the floor / wiping up jelly etc.

I'd recommend a getting a really good well-fitting pair of jeans - wear with v neck t-shirt or jersey wrap top for kids' party and something slightly glammer - possibly a wrap top in a dressier fabric - and big earrings for Robbie.

Actually if you get a decent skirt or some wide-legged trousers you could wear the smarter top to the anniversary party too...
