I looked in holland and barratt and thought it was extortionate.

Tesco :)

ihatethecold · 18/04/2014 20:56

Is it in a food aisle?

Tesco about £6 a jar. It down the world food isle. Good stuff as well.

GrassIsSinging · 18/04/2014 21:28

Amazon

AnythingNotEverything · 18/04/2014 21:42

My local chemist. Cheapest place and available in small tubs.

ShimmeringInTheSun · 18/04/2014 21:43

Superdrug.

RobinSparkles · 18/04/2014 21:45

Tesco usually, in the cooking oils aisle but they haven't had any for a while. I've had to nick DH's face wash which isn't as good for my skin. Angry

MyNameIsSuz · 18/04/2014 21:51

I got a massive tub in Holland and Barrett when they had a sale on, it was half price. I've still got loads of it 18 months later!

ihatethecold · 18/04/2014 22:00

So how much should I be paying for a tub?

OP posts:
ComradePlexiglass · 18/04/2014 22:02

It's 2.99 in my local chemist.

AnythingNotEverything · 18/04/2014 22:03

How big a tub?

Mine is the size of a small adult yoghurt, like a Muller Greek style (if that means anything to you!) or maybe an Activia, and it was £1.99.

OscarWinningActress · 18/04/2014 22:04

I get it from Costco in a gigantic tub.

level3at6months · 18/04/2014 22:07

£2.50 a jar in Tesco - they also have a £6 jar in a different aisle. I saw the huge one in Costco for £12.99 ish but we've already got Tesco jars upstairs and downstairs Blush

ihatethecold · 18/04/2014 22:24

Ooh not bad then.
When I looked in holland and barratt it was about £12.

I have a £2.99 500 ml jar of KTC coconut oil for taming frizzy ends and dry skin. Its perfectly fine and has lasted for ages

But viridan is my preferred coconut oil, much pricier at £15.00 and I cook with it. The results on my skin, hair and nails are much better than the KTC

TinyDiamond · 18/04/2014 22:33

What do you want it for? If just skin and hair then the £1.99 job from superdrug will be fine. If you want to eat it too then the virgin coconut oil is best the suma one is about £4.50 per jar or they are about £6 odd in supermarkets same aisle as olive oils.

ihatethecold · 18/04/2014 22:35

My hair mostly.

Superdrug do a tub for £1.99 that is the same size as a tub of Sudocrem. Brilliant stuff ...

MsVanRein · 18/04/2014 22:42

I got mine in Holland & Barrett but perhaps it was on promotion as I don't remember it being too bad.
