mint velvet dresses on pear shapes?

Looking for something for a June wedding in North Yorkshire. has anyone actually seen either of these dresses. would they be flattering on my child bearing hips?

I think they would be ok. How tall are you? I think the longer back hem only really looks good on someone quite tall.

As a pear shape myself, I personally wouldn't wear the first one. Not enough waist definition which is my best area! Second one is better but as PP said, might depend on how tall you are?
