they are bloody reduced

i just got mine and i LOVES them. I did have a sniff of cub scout leader for a while but they are so soft!

They look good - not reduced much though. And no size 10s left. Although I'm probably a 4 or something ridiculous being Gap.

As an aside - what the hell do Gap mean on the mobile website when it asks you whether you want 'regular' or 'inseam'?

frankietwospots · 17/04/2014 21:47

oh fuckety fuck, I wanted another pair of khaki green ones in a size 6 (and yes, TheJumped, the sizing is generous!) but none left. Hope they are reduced in store when I go next week. They are the best casual trousers ever!

Legologgo · 17/04/2014 22:00

Dunno. That's weird

Legologgo · 17/04/2014 22:00

Yes. I got a size down.

How skinny are the legs please?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/04/2014 22:02

I've just got these in black and absolutely love them. Do the Gap ones come in different lengths or are they like the usual Gap trews and therefore far too long for us Hobbits?

frankietwospots · 17/04/2014 22:20

Nice trews Remus! Think the Gap ones are only in one length but they look good turned up.

The Gap ones aren't super tight but they are definitely a slim skinny fit.

Inseam refers to inside trouser length doesn't it? So they are only available in regular.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 17/04/2014 22:36

Thanks, Frankie. Will be way too long then. Anyway, I already have khaki skinnies and never know what to wear with them - black boots look too military but brown look a bit Robin Hood. I've hardly worn them.

Legologgo · 17/04/2014 23:18

They're quite long. I'm a 32 inside leg

Legologgo · 17/04/2014 23:18

I got the grey ones soft. Quite thick

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/04/2014 10:17

I have some grey M&S ones already. Nice but a bit saggy on the bum, and again, I struggle with which shoes to wear with them.

TheBuskersDog · 18/04/2014 18:03

frankie what size are you usually? I am an 8 but I have trousers from Gap that range from a UK 2 to UK 8!

frankietwospots · 18/04/2014 22:07

I wear leopard slip ons or some dark aubergine skaters I've got from Top Shop. Both look good with khaki or grey (so now I want the grey Gap ones!).

TheBuskersDog - I am usually an 8 (in Boden, M&S, Dorothy Perkins etc..), but am never an 8 in Gap!

Legologgo · 18/04/2014 22:16

i have some slipper shoes or some flip flops

OP posts:
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/04/2014 22:18

What are slipper shoes?

Not fond of skater shoes / sure fine on others but not my sort of thing.

If it's warm enough for flip flops I'd be wearing a skirt, not trews.

Legologgo · 18/04/2014 22:25

Sorry, Frankie - don't like either of those.

Heeled ankle boots look nice with my black ones, and Converse fine with them too, but both look all wrong with the grey ones.

I have bought flat slipperish shoes in the hope I can feel grand in them but I just look and feel daft. I have long and thin feet at size 6 but my feet look so huge I can't wear them for longer than a few minutes. Same with loafers.

I should wear heels to get the shape which suits but am unable to wear them due to manky leg. I miss heels but, since manky leg, flats have to stay.

I wish I could wear the lovely flat shoes without being so self-conscious but boots then flip flops for me.

I also like the Trews :).
