Fitflop shoes - yea or (more likely) nay

Hi there

I am looking for some summer shoes which I could wear to work and which will stay looking smart for a while. I do a lot of walking (to get to work, rather than once there) so ballet flats aren't really supportive enough. I saw these in a shop this morning and thought they were OK but not great.

OK or massively frumpy

Anyone have any views, or could you suggest an alternative which will be smart but OK to do plenty of walking in.

Alternatively should I stick to my ballet flats and walk to work in trainers....

Thanks

I've seen those Due in a yellow canvas that is faaaaaarr less frump some than those. I think they came in navy too.

Funnily enough I have just bought these in navy blue & black. They're comfortable and I think they don't look frumpy at all (I've also taken 'younger' advice on this Wink)
They do come up rather large though. I'm usually a 7.5 or an 8 but a 7 fits comfortably!

I'm wearing the black patent ones atm, and they are very comfortable indeed, and have lasted really well.

I have them in shiny red but they have ripped my heel to pieces .... I'm currently trying again :-(

Do you mean these, Savoy ?

less frumpy

Not sure I can get away with canvas at work. Glad to hear that they are comfortable but ouch to the sore heels...

I've been looking at those pumps recently, I like the look of them. I wear the Fitflop sneakers a lot, and I think they're really comfortable but they do look a bit frumpy. The Duo pumps look nicer I think. notapizza I found the sneakers ripped my heels as well to start with, I had to soften them by squashing the back of the shoe with my heel for a day or so.
