Do you ever buy anything full price?

I just can't anymore, there is always a deal or a code round the corner. I feel cheated buying anything full price. Spoils shopping tbh

Yes I do, I rarely like stuff that ends up in the sale

Cereal0ffender · 16/04/2014 10:10

Doesn't have to be a sAle though, sometimes I see something in a shop then go home find a code and order it online. Also these days pretty much everything ends up in a sale

if im shopping online I seek out codes, but if its in an actual shop and I like it then I will buy it.

Boden/joules I never buy without a code. Can usually find a code for most shops, except fatface. I want o order some clothes for the dc from fatface and frugi and I can't find a code for either.

QueenCadbury · 16/04/2014 10:21

I do pay full price if I really love something as I'm always scared it will sell out.

I'm hoping that there may be a flurry of discount codes around for Easter!

peasandlove · 16/04/2014 10:49

not unless it's already cheap. I usually save it and hope like hell I'll get a discount or a sale before it sells out.

LaTrucha · 16/04/2014 13:12

I do if I am shopping in a local boutique. I'd be so sorry if any of them had to close, so I always try there first. Online, where I end up doing a lot of shopping because of where I live, no.

flipchart · 16/04/2014 13:51

Not often.

I have just got a lovely top from Jaeger reduced from £99 to 20 and a top by ghost for 15 quid.

I'll ay full price for fast fashion but won't spend a fortune on it but I have loads and lads of stuff from DKNY,Whistles,Hobbs Jaeger etc that I've had for years and it still looks fresh and paid next to nothing for.

People at work will often say,I love that top,who is it andy will think I've paid a lot when in reality it has been the same price or cheaper than one from Next!

OneLittleLady · 16/04/2014 14:12

Not unless I really really love something. I usually wait for sales or go rummaging in outlets for bargains. I've got beautiful things for a fraction of the usual prices by having a good eye for bargains

dexter73 · 16/04/2014 14:42

Not if I can help it! I can't remember the last time I paid full price for anything from Gap as there is always a discount, or will be very soon.

ItsRoxie · 16/04/2014 14:42

No, very rarely unless it's for a specific event and I don't have the time to wait and see if it'll get reduced. Or if it's a basic type of clothing that doesn't tend to get reduced. But 90% of things I buy are in the sale, or bought with a voucher/discount code or in outlets. If I see something in a shop I like I'll usually go online and see if it's available cheaper elsewhere (has happened a few times, especially with clothing lines which are stocked by dept. stores).

RhondaJean · 16/04/2014 14:42

Very rarely, there is always a 20% discount code or buy one get something free offer if you wait long enough (and I am very patient)

MarshaBrady · 16/04/2014 14:44

Very rarely. And even then it has been stuff that doesn't go on sale or sells out too quickly.

MrsCampbellBlack · 16/04/2014 14:53

I do on some stuff eg handbags and shoes but do love a code Smile

santamarianovella · 16/04/2014 15:36

Yes I do,some stuff sell so fast, and like armani ,nothing I like goes on sale,or is sold out in my size, and buying early means I get to wear things more, instead of waiting for sales to get them,

itsnothingoriginal · 16/04/2014 21:20

Not clothes - usually sale or discounted price. I can't stand the current tactic of many clothing retailers who deliberately inflate the RRP in order to offer 'discounts'! I just can't afford to buy full priced clothes for me or the kids unless from supermarkets or Primark.

It makes clothes shopping very frustrating though. I tend to try on things I like at full price then wait for sales or buy online with a discount code.

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2014 21:30

Not if I can avoid it but occasionally I do if I fall in love with the item and want it RIGHT NOW.

GiveTwoSheets · 16/04/2014 21:33

Use to until I joined HUKDers last November now I'm like a women possed if buying online. Especially with H&M well since they been cracking down on their codes.

ChablisLover · 16/04/2014 22:04

Rarely

The only times I have then the items are reduced soon after.

Only buy in sales, with discount vouchers or quid co

Dh has taught me well

Corygal · 16/04/2014 23:57

I haven't for years and years. Everything goes in the sale so fast these days (average time instore is 6 weeks till discount) that I can't bring myself.

Opening prices are for amateurs. Grin

burnishedsilver · 17/04/2014 00:00

Rarely. There's usually a discount code rather than a sale.
