Whats the going out fashion now?

I'm going out to a nice city pub Saturday night and wanted a top to wear with skinny jeans. However all the ones I can find are either camisoles(I'll be freezing) or the seem to casual.
Is that the fashion now.
I've tried zara, rive rusk and, oasis and warehouse.
Any suggestions on what to wear

I'd wear jeans, a cami and a blazer/jacket with heels for an occasion you describe. But I am originally from The North so ignore cold!

There are loads of openwork / openknit jumpers about that work well with the camis. Are generally pretty warm - air pockets, like a string vest y' see.
