Bra Fitting

After reading that 70% of women wear bras that don't fit thought i'd get measured.
The women in Debenhams only measured under bust said i was a 44 but said they don't measure the cup size WTF. I was wearing a 38F she said oh that definately doesnt fit.
Previously measured meyself and figleaves said i was a 44DD told her this so she said that a DD would be too small i'll get you a 44E brought it in, it was too baggy around the boobs fitted round back, i was told to put on my top and it was all wrinkled up it looked horrible!
So i walked away without buying any bras to wear on my wedding day and not knowing what bra size i am!
Grr

Doesn't sound like the woman was any good ! I usually go to John Lewis (have been in loads and all have been good). I'm now a 36G / 34H depending on the bra. (finally!)

If it is for your wedding day and you live anywhere near London I highly recomend Rigby & Pellar -- now there is a place that is amazing! They can tell you size, by looking and it fits perfectly. Only place in London I found a backless strapless bra to fit (my then) 38G body!

My SIL works for Charnos, and is an expert fitter! She measures by eye - measures under bust and then says what cup size you are. She is fantastic at it, I suggest you try another shop, you need to feel your best on your wedding day and a perfectly fitting bra will really help!

Do try again - where do you live?

OH oh, and she's been on the telly measuring someone's boobs on 10 years younger

You don't say where in scotland but Bravissimo do just such a job and specialise in "big boobed women" (their words) and have fitters in shop.
