For years I've been searching in vain for my signature scent.

A sexy sophisticated vanilla that isn't cakey.

I have and love Hypnotic Poison, Alien, Lolita Lempicka, Dior Addict, Givenchy Organza Indecence and Jo Malone Vanilla Anise but none of them are "The One".

I got my hopes up for Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille but was bitterly disappointed when it arrived .

Anyway, this morning I had my first spray of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and I am practically orgasmic. It is fucking magnificent. I have never smelled anything so 'me' before.

Now I'm off to pawn DD and the dog so I can buy the full bottle .

squoosh I'm not enough of a perfume expert to be able to explain notes etc so emphatic cursing will just have to do .

Pasithea I've tried No.5 numerous times over the years but it's just not me. Far too floral and powdery and old ladyish.
