How much of a fashion disaster are jeggings?

I'm in that awkward early pregnancy stage where my normal clothes won't button up but maternity clothes are still huge.

I'm sick to death of my trousers falling down, but not prepared to fork out on lots of 'normal' clothes in a size or two bigger for just a few weeks.

With that in mind, how much of a fashion disaster are black jeggings? And can I wear them for work and weekend for the next few weeks?!

Or is there a better solution?

They will be fine. I bought some a size up during pregnancy. The legs were a bit baggier than normal skinnies but were really comfortable until the last month when I went more into leggings. Wore them afterwards until normal clothes fitted again. I just made sure I had a longer top to cover the waist band.

H & m do cheapish maternity ones which are comfier than jeans. I lived in them, work and home. Very versatile with stretchy dresses and long tops.
