Help please! My faithful old Revlon hairdryer packed up last week (DSs inflating a mini hot-air balloon) and my very old travel dryer went out with a bang last night, any recommendations for a lovely new dryer gratefully received. I need a diffuser for my waves and don't want a very heavy thing that makes my shoulders ache.Do those ionic gizmo's work? I have to go food shopping for a few hours but will be back to catch up on this thread and hopefully pop up to the Metrocentre to make my purchase this afternoon Grin

Mine's a Tresemme ionic one fron Boots.. bought it just before Xmas. I wanted a light weight one as my last one was like trying to lift weights!

Does the job and comes with a diffuser and a pointy nozzle:) Choice of heats and speeds so does the job :)

Thanks Medusa, is it the Keratin Smooth one? It's reduced from £30 to £20 in Argos at the mo so I might get it if it's the same one (2200 watts seems very powerful though).
