Staying at bil and sil, off on holiday this afternoon. Dried my hair with sil's hairdryer which is a bit fiercer than mine. I now have a patch of orange scorched hair on my crown which has snapped off.
Just wanted to say, arse and fucking buggery. Angry

:(
Is there a salon nearby who could help with a repair job ?

It's only a little patch,I was just a bit grumpy as reaction from bil and dh was pissing themselves laughing. I may "forget" all his clothes. But seriously, why does a hairdryer need to be that hot?

Ouchie... (hehe) ....
But seriously, what kind of fierce hair dryer can burn your hair off ?!?!
Mine only goes up to 1600.

I hope you put some soothing cream on the crown and reduced the heat a bit.

Smother your hair with coconut oil tonight, leave on overnights and well out well in the morning. Probably take a couple of lather, rinse, repeat.

Does a fab job of rehydrating dry frizzy bits, worked wonders on my hair after I accidentally straightened my fringe too much and it resembled a dodgy 90s crimping session.

Most supermarkets sell it if you don't have any. Amazing stuff.
