How to clean a mark from some nude patent shoes

I've got some lovely nude, patent leather shoes and stupidly put them next to a pair of boots with rubbery black soles. I now have an attractive black mark on one shoe and have not managed to clean it off with the shoe cleaning liquid they sold me at Clarks.

What else can I try that won't damage the patent leather?

Have you tried something like this , I think you can get them even cheaper I think flash do one.
