I admit I'm not remotely stylish but I'm trying to learn. Over the weekend I wore a pair of smart black trousers, black ankle boots and a fine knit sweater with a fine black and cobalt blue stripe.
The problem is when I put on a black blazer it all looked like a trouser suit which I didn't intend.
What jackets do you wear with black trousers - do you take note of the colours in the top underneath?
