Come talk to me of bridesmaid dresses for women in their 30s

My brother and his partner are getting married next May. My lovely sister in law to be has asked her sister, her brother's wife and me to be bridesmaids (our respective offspring make up the flower girls and page boys etc). We are all in our 30s and are all in the UK size 10 - 14 range. One of us is significant of nork and one bridesmaid will be breastfeeding too.

It is a very low key wedding in my parents' garden and sis in law to be has said we can all wear whatever we want. I suggested that we at the very least coordinate. The colour scheme is white, light blue and yellow. Does anyone have any ideas as to where we should look? I am not clear as to the price tag yet but I suspect we'll be purchasing our own dresses. The other bridesmaids do not live in the UK so I've volunteered to have a look.

Any ideas, thoughts, shared experiences of such things?

Thanks awfully.

My maid of honor got hers at Jane Norman believe it or not. I would recommend debenhams as well, my friend got her wedding dress & bridesmaid outfits from there.

I think when the bridesmaids are a bit more grown up, then just choosing a colour scheme and letting everyone pick their own dress within that can work really nicely. So this kind of look, or this

I'd maybe also chose a length - not too specific, just long or short? Or maybe decide whether you want chiffony/floaty dresses or shiny/satins?

When my sister had her wedding, we also struggled as well between finding something which fit our shape (we were also different ages) compared to these bespoke bridesmaid dresses. In the end, we found some light grey colour dresses in Kaliko. You can check out some of the evening kind of wear which also can look good too. Try Coast, Kaliko, Phase 8, Mexx. We didn't go for very varied patterns or colours, but kept it simple. I think this will solve your age problem I think. Finding something which fitted each other's shape may be a little bit more difficult. There may be adjustments to be made here and there to make it fit a little bit better. We went for a tea dress.
The shape was something like this but the pattern and fabric was different.
