Very fast salon quality hairdryer? But not too pricey!

I have very thick hair which takes ages to dry. I used to have a very fast, salon dryer from Sally's (can't remember the brand name) which was about £27 but it broke and now I look in Sally's and they are all so expensive!
Anyone know any super fast, high powered dryers that aren't expensive?

Hmm I have the Wella Sahira but it was £80 so quite expensive. Totally worth it though as I have very thick hair.

I have heard great things about the parlux hair dryers. I think they are quite pricey mind, but I used to work with a load of models who all seemed to have masses of beautiful hair cows and swore by them.

I have a bright pink travel hair dryer I stole off my mum so I'm perhaps not one to comment mind Grin

I have a Parlux. It is fabulous. So fast compared to my old dryer, but less 'blowy' so my hair stays neater.

The Parlux 3200 compact is amazing - about £60. I have very long very thick hair and it dries my hair in no time and gives a brilliant finish. This is the only one that has lasted any length of time too. The others have all burnt out. So yes, pricey but I bought and burnt out six before I got this one!

Spend the money. Buy a Parlux or a professional hairdryer of some sort! Tons better. They will last for years and years and years and if you already had a professional one, you will hate the ordinary ones.

I have and ETI from Sally's which I love

SunnyUpNorth · 13/04/2014 19:22

I have the Parlux compact, it's great. But when I was searching on amazon at the time the ETI one came up, it got great reviews and is a bit cheaper than Parlux so that could be an option.

itsbetterthanabox · 13/04/2014 19:37

There seems to be 2 ETI ones. Do you mean the 1500 watt one the turbo dryer or the ETI turbo dryer 3500 which is 2000 watt?
I found this one too reduced, anyone know it? www.salon-services.com/mobile/rapida-3600-hairdryer-phairdryers22_white/

I haven't used either, but the one on amazon with the good reviews is the 3500. Although I would prob just spend the extra tenner and get the Parlux compact. Apparently if you shop around you can get it with extra accessories.

I have a Parlux. Fantastic hair dryer.
