Need to help my mum find an outfit for a funeral and we're both utterly shit at clothes

Any chance anyone can help?

I need to help my mum find an outfit for a funeral (v close family member so v important she looks/feels comfortable). Slight problem is my mum hasn't a clue about clothes and I am worse. Honestly we are both utterly shit.

So help!! My mum is 5'1 (and a half - she says with 'that' tone). She is a 16/18, hourglass, big boobs (she's got no idea what size - think we might need to go and get her measured). She wants to wear black (tends to anyway). Doesn't like anything tailored or in a man made fabric. She really likes the stuff Judi Dench wears. She's got jaw length blonde hair and is 64 (but looks about 10 years younger I'd say. Acts about 20 years younger too). She likes massive amber jewellery and is a graphic designer so quirky's good. Budget about 150-200.

So if anyone's got any ideas at all we'd be really grateful indeed.

Thank you.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Everyone always raves about Vivienne Westwood's Anglomania range - interesting and good for curves. This is over budget but looks like the right sort of thing. it would look great with big jewellery Prophecy

Going in another direction, this sort of style would be very flattering but they've sold out if your mum's size here Kaliko

I'll keep looking...

Great site here www.navabi.co.uk/p/fashionicons-judi-dench/dresses-colour-black.html. This one looks possible Zizzi

Also Judi apparently shops here www.hampsteadbazaar.com/about-us-4922.html but I can't immediately find any possibles.

Thank you very very much indeed Justine. My mum's currently checking out Hampstead Bazaar and has three possibles now. Absolutely fantastic thank you :) (my mum's saying 'but how do they know that sort of stuff???!' - clothes are a mystery to both of us!) (and thank you for your condolences - now is a totally shit time for us both....not made any better by wading through the incomprehensible world of fashion)
