Help me I need to "dress to impress" tonight!

I need big time help, it's a friends 40th tonight, big towiw style party, and the invite says "dress to impress".

I've nothing to wear, I could go to westfield today, I've not waxed, had a pedicure, had a manicure or any other kind of preening since my 40th in December.
I'm haggered and tired. I feel 60 not 40. Please give me a list of things to do to get me to 7pm... Pjs to glam by 7pm... Is it possible???

Have a bath. Shave. Exfoliate. Moisturise (face and body) so you have a glow. Trim finger and toenails and paint. If you colour your hair yourself ca you pop a quick colour on to give you that nice glossy shine? You must have one dress or outfit you love to wear that lookz good. Maybe just pop and buy a new statement neclace and/or clutch bag to go with it. Cheap and easy!

I've just shaved and cut my legs, and painted my finger nails in a pale colour, so you can't see I've home over the edges.
I'm sure I've something to wear, it's just all old and been worn a thousand times. :(

Ok. I would hit the shops first and find something to wear so you aren't time-limited later or find yourself having to go out in a rush with wet nails or something (this always happens to me!)

Bath, shave (I wouldn't risk waxing myself!), glass of wine (of course!) moisturise (tinted one if you are into a glow) all over. Shape and paint toe and fingernails. Pluck eyebrows. How is your hair (length, style etc)? Exfoliate face and leave a nice moisturiser on.

Plucked my eyebrows and veeted my moustache.
My hair is ok actually, it's sort of long bob, I only recently had it cut and coloured, normally I'd go big hair (it used to be longer), but I think I'll just blow dry it as normal as it could go horribly wrong!!!!

Deep smokey eye and a nude lip! Not forgetting a cheeky light dusting of bronzer between the twins to get you noticed ;)

Oh yes definitely a smokey eye. Wear the old outfit you'll feeel confident in it if you know it looks good.

I've a lovely red dress I wore to our gay friends wedding, none of these friends have seen it. Going to wear black closed in shoes so I don't need to paint toes!
